Cryptadia is an attempt to turn creepy and fantastic experiences and memories from my childhood into 8-bit inspired tunes.

An old black and white cartoon with dancing skeletons or a story about creatures that bite your toes while you sleep. My cousin telling me that I mustn't sleep with the door open because eyes will appear in the doorway and I won't make it through the night. A casual remark about an unknown sound upstairs being a corpse in the bathtub and a breathing sound emanating from a hole in the ground in the middle of a field. A witch in the yard and a ghost in the barn.

All these and so much more are what Cryptadia is to me.
